How CRN uses Google data
This page explains the optional Gmail connection in plain language. It supplements the CRN Privacy Policy.
What CRN accesses
If you connect Gmail, the permissions you approve allow CRN to read messages and threads in the connected mailbox and to send mail through that account. The read permission can technically reach messages throughout the mailbox. CRN limits actual use to the recruiting features described on this page.
Why CRN uses it
CRN uses relevant Gmail data to identify recruiting messages, organize coach conversations, detect coach replies and delivery events, maintain recruiting communication history, and create context-aware recruiting drafts. CRN uses send access only when you choose to send a recruiting email or reply through CRN.
What CRN may store
CRN may store the connected account identity, encrypted OAuth credentials, message and thread identifiers, sender and recipient information, subject lines, timestamps, recruiting classifications, limited previews, relevant recruiting conversation content, communication history, and drafts needed to provide these features. CRN is not intended to copy or archive the entire mailbox.
Service providers and sharing
CRN shares Google user data only with service providers acting for CRN when needed to operate the recruiting feature, protect the service, or comply with law. Relevant recruiting context may be sent to an AI service provider to generate the specific draft or classification requested by the feature. CRN does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, transfer it to data brokers, or use it for credit or lending decisions.
AI and human access
CRN does not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. CRN personnel do not read connected-mailbox content except when you give specific affirmative consent for support, when access is necessary to investigate security or abuse, or when required by law. CRN does not use mailbox content for general staff review or generalized model training.
Your controls
Connecting Gmail is optional. You review drafts and choose whether to send. You can disconnect Gmail in CRN Settings at any time; CRN then disables and removes its locally stored OAuth credentials and stops future mailbox scans. Disconnecting does not delete messages from Gmail or automatically erase existing CRN recruiting history.
Google Limited Use
CRN's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
